The restaurants near our luxurious mountain cabins are extensive and ever changing but we’ve managed to eat at nearly all of them! If a restaurant is not listed here, it probably just didn’t make the cut as one of our favorites, but that doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t necessarily like it. There’s just too many so we narrowed the list down to our preferred restaurants and also noted our favorites.

Canyon Kitchen is a highly-rated restaurant located in Sapphire (about a 30 minute drive). The restaurant is renowned for its stunning natural setting, framed by verdant forests, meadows, and thousand-foot granite cliffs. It offers an exquisite dining experience with a focus on high-quality cuisine and a picturesque ambiance.

Meraki Favorite
Wood-fired bistro and wine bar, a communal gathering place for food and wine enthusiasts. Located in Downtown Brevard the plaza near Quixote.

Wine Bars
A charming retro diner that transports visitors back to the 1950s soda shoppe era. The restaurant is known for its hot dogs and quick service. Customers often praise the nostalgic atmosphere, with many feeling like they've stepped into a time capsule from the 1950s. The ice cream is also a highlight, with flavors like Cookies and Cream and Sea Salt Caramel receiving high marks.

Hawg Wild Smokehouse and Taproom
At the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. It is known for its delicious American and Barbecue cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including smoked Boston butt, beef brisket, smoked chicken, and Saint Louis Ribs, along with sides such as slaw, fries, baked beans, and hushpuppies
BBQ
A staple of the community since 1993. Delicious food, great drink selection and friendly service have been their top priorities from the very beginning and continue to be so today. They are “where the locals gather”. Downtown Brevard on Main Street.

The best seafood around and some huge burgers. In Etowah, 23 miles from Meraki Escape - a bit of a drive, but if you’ve got the craving this is the place to go.

Sit on the patio for a view of Toxaway Falls! Some of the best Mexican we've had in a while - and it's open 7 days a week! Located 8.9 miles from Meraki Escape. They don't have a webpage but can be found on google.

Dilly Deli
Located just down the road off of 64 towards Brevard. This deli serves up breakfast and lunch sandwiches to go. The menu is small but packs a mighty punch. There's no seating, it's carry out only.

Serving Breakfast and Lunch. You'll find us here almost every Sunday. We love their biscuit sandwich and their daily specials. Located in Lake Toxaway.
